The Dublin High School Men’s Varsity team won the first annual “Rivalry for the Rock” game 2-1 over Dougherty Valley. The Stone Leaf Rock is a new award presented to the school that wins the second scheduled game of the year between Dublin High and Dougherty Valley. Dublin High is now 16-2-1 overall (7-1-1 in league) and in position to take the first men’s soccer league championship in school history. Home games remain against Las Lomas (February 3) and Alhambra (February 10) before NCS playoffs start.
