In June 2009, CYSA established an ad hoc committee to develop and propose to the board a framework for a state-wide playing league for all levels of competition.  The committee presented the proposal to CYSA’s Board of Directors at its December 2009 meeting.  At the meeting, CYSA’s Board of Directors approved the framework presented by the committee for the approach to developing the league and asked the committee to go forward consistent with the general approach presented.  The committee is now in the process of developing a budget, and the necessary rules and procedures to propose to the Board of Directors at its February meeting with league play starting in the Fall.
